Council is looking to arts practitioners, groups and organisations to submit their ideas to develop and deliver art projects which increase engagement in arts and culture.
Through Council’s COVID Creative & Cultural Support Program (CCCSP), Council is looking to contract local artists to undertake activities that help our creative sector survive the impacts of the pandemic, and build enduring capacity and resilience.
Council is asking interested artists to make an Expression of Interest. There are three levels of funding available. Level one is for projects up to $3,000, level two for projects up to $5,000, and level three will see larger projects up to $10,000 being supported. A possible ten art projects can be funded under this support program.
Director Planning and Environment, Angela Hughes said the creative industries play a pivotal role in community recovery.
“Artists are always finding new and innovative ways to reach their audiences and communities. We look forward to the cultural participation that these projects will offer our community”, she said.
Artists, groups and organisations are encouraged to submit their proposal/s via an online expression of interest form, detailed below.
