Kyneton Street Band

Formed in 2015, the Kyneton Street Band provides a vibrant outdoor band experience for the Macedon Ranges and surrounding district communities. The band features marimbas, wind, brass and percussion instruments in a unique mobile format, made possible by the creation of marching marimbas.  Membership is open to people of all ages, and the selection of music played and the marimbas in particular, make the band accessible to musicians of limited experience, as well as seasoned professionals and amateurs. The Kyneton Street Band regularly performs at Farmers Markets, The Lost Trades Fair, Kyneton Daffodil Parade and other events across the Macedon Ranges.
